Starting with trumpet in the 4th grade, playing tuba in Junior High summer band, and then switching to drums in 8th grade, John has continued to expore music as a prolific songwriter and musician. With the encourgement of The Manhattan Transfer's Alan Paul, he put the "Having Fun" CD together. With the success of this CD, he has begun the process of pulling together songs he wrote as a teen in the late sixties and early seventies and writing new material. |
